“I want to contribute to the landscape industry through leading the LIAV Board. I believe I have an obligation to give something back to the industry and that this is the best way for me to make a difference.”  more
“My goals as Vice President of the LIAV are: to continue to grow the association as the peak industry body, in terms of members and member benefits, public awareness and recognition, registration. Basically I want to build on the fantastic work of my predecessors and fellow board members.” more
“My aim as a Board member is to keep in touch with the industry and to influence where I can the decision making process. It is stimulating to be involved with such a progressive organisation.” more
“I once heard the LIAV sneeringly referred to as ‘The Big Boys' Club’ (by a male non-member landscaper) but in all the years I have been associated with the LIAV (I was an awards judge for many years), I never once felt it was a ‘Boys' Club’, let alone a ‘Big Boys' Club’. In fact, I feel that the LIAV's inclusiveness is one of its strengths and I am looking forward to working with the Association to boost membership. more
"Over the coming year the portfolio will focus on membership categories particularly to focus on and promote those members who have become registered building practitioners and identify and develop more benefits for our members. Ongoing training and professional development will play a large part." more

“As a member of the LIAV board I like to help grow our industry further and bring some fresh ideas to the Association.”  more “By becoming an LIAV Board member, I would like to bring to the Association a voice on behalf of landscape designers as I believe that good design naturally goes hand in hand with construction and I see this as the way forward for the industry.” more “As a member of the Landscaping Victoria Board my aim is to offer insights into the association from an allied trade perspective, ensuring both relevancy to all members and scope for growth. By encouraging and fostering new ideas and relationships from all sectors, we add strength and vibrancy to the joint aims of the association and the talented and multi-faceted industry it represents.”more
