Judges' comments

The ‘Children’s Garden’ presented the J A Dodd group with a project that required a very high level of skills across the broad spectrum required by a landscape builder. The design solutions demanded creativity in the use of a wide range of hard elements in the construction, as well as an on-site appreciation of, and sensitivity to, the client’s needs and requirements. Site management issues were all dealt with professionally, a must given the site’s heavy pedestrian traffic location.

A high profile site that required quality, pride and professionalism. This was certainly achieved.
