The United Nations has declared 2010 as the International Year of Biodiversity. We rely on biodiversity of life to provide us with food, fuel, medicine and other essentials we simply cannot live without.

To mark The International Year of Biodiversity, Landscaping Victoria has invited entries from student landscape designers to design a show garden based on "Biodiversity" for the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show. Congratulations to our four finalists: Jenna Mellerick, Penny Harris, Guy Batters, & Adam Cox whose gardens will be on show at this year's MIFGS.
